How to Verify Time Sheets

Once set up Managers or Partners have the ability to check or verify the time sheets before they become final and update the system.

There is a field under Employee Maintenance to tag if an employees time sheet must be verified or checked. Change to edit mode and tick the check box as indicated below.

On the time sheet entry, there will be a  new icon the sticky note icon that is displayed, left of employee code
This will display if the time sheet has not been checked.

The screen will display a green tick if the time sheet has been checked - see below.

When a new entry to a time sheet is created, the system will automatically create a time sheet check note for that week, only if the employee has been tagged for time sheet verification as indicated above in the Time sheet Employee file.

For existing Time sheets, run a recalculate for that week to display employees to be verified.

Time sheets can not be editable and no new entries will be allowed if that weeks’ time sheet has been checked or verified.

To check or verify a time sheet, click on the notes icon for that week and tag the note as completed as indicated below.

Only Partners or Managers or any user will be able to check or verify if the right to do so have been allocated. Please ask support to allocate the rights.
