We take the safety of your data very seriously and use multiple layers of automatic backup:
Nightly cloud backups
Every night your data is automatically backed up to four independent, secure cloud locations.
Weekly server copy
Once a week, a full backup is downloaded to our own server as an additional safeguard.
Off-site hard drive
That weekly server backup is then copied to an external hard drive, which is physically taken off-site for disaster recovery purposes.
Because of this robust backup strategy, it is very rare that we ever need to restore from a backup. But if we do, we have multiple recent copies available in different locations to protect you against hardware failure, accidental deletion, or other unforeseen events.
In addition, for normal operations you do not need to stop work or bring the system down to take a backup – the system continues running while backups are handled automatically.
